Overview

The SSI Scuba Diver course is a condensed entry-level certification that covers approximately half of the Open Water Diver curriculum. Upon completion, you are certified to dive to a maximum of 12 metres under the direct supervision of an SSI professional — making it an ideal option for those with limited holiday time who still want a recognised, meaningful qualification. The SSI Scuba Diver certification is easy to upgrade to the full Open Water Diver level at any SSI Training Center worldwide at a later date by completing the remaining academic sessions and two additional open water dives.
