React Right is SSI’s comprehensive emergency first response programme and the equivalent of PADI’s EFR course. It provides the training and knowledge to act as a first responder in a medical emergency — on land or at sea. The programme is highly flexible, allowing participants to choose the specific modules most relevant to their needs, including primary assessment, first aid and wound care, CPR and AED use, oxygen first aid administration, and management of diving-related injuries. React Right certification is a prerequisite for the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty and is valid for two years. It is a genuinely life-saving course that has value far beyond the dive site.
