SSI’s most popular specialty. Nitrox mixes contain a higher percentage of oxygen than standard air — typically between 22% and 40% — which significantly extends your no-decompression limits and reduces surface interval times. Ideal for multi-dive days, liveaboard trips, and any diving holiday where you want to maximise time underwater. The course covers gas physics, oxygen toxicity management, planning with Nitrox, and correct cylinder analysis. Prerequisite: Open Water Diver.
