Overview

The PADI Divemaster rating is the first professional level in the PADI system and a major milestone in any diver’s life. As a Divemaster, you are qualified to lead certified divers on guided dives, supervise dive activities, assist instructors during training, and manage dive operations. The course develops your dive theory to an advanced level, refines your in-water skills through intensive supervised training, and builds your leadership abilities through real-world work experience within a dive centre. Candidates complete practical assessments including underwater skill demonstrations, rescue scenarios, dive briefings, and dive site mapping exercises. For many, it is the beginning of a career and a lifestyle as extraordinary as any in the world.
